Yummy Food Spotlight: Edamame

Take a look in your grocery store's freezer section for edamame, a snack from Japan and that is quick to make, fun to eat, cheap, healthy, and filling!

What you need

  • Frozen edamame
  • Two Bowls: One for the cooked edamame and another to place the empty pods after eating


  • Follow cooking directions on the edamame bag.
  • Serve warm or refrigerate for a cold snack later on.
  • When you are ready to eat, take a pod and squeeze the beans into your mouth-throw away the pod into an empty bowl.
